SWMM also proved to be a valuable learning tool. Apart from modelling the sub-systems in the observed area, SWMM was also used as a “sand-box”, where various scenarios with combinations of voids, overflow channels and restrictions were modelled to learn about possible water level hydrographs obtained at various positions in the model.
